Removal Procedure

  1. Transmission - Remove - Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (LM2, 2WD with F47) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (LM2, 2WD without F47)

    NOTE:

    Have an additional technician hold the special tool EN-956-1  Extension in place while breaking loose the automatic transmission flex plate bolts.

    Install the EN-49979  Holder (1) with EN-956-1  Extension (3).

    Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD [8x]

  4. Automatic Transmission Flex Plate (1) - Remove
