Installation Procedure

With the aid of an assistant, install the liftgate. (2)

CAUTION:

Liftgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.

Liftgate Power Assist Actuator (1) - Install
Install the 2 metal clips to each end of the liftgate power assist actuator (1).

NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.

Liftgate Strut (1) - Install
Install the 2 metal clips at each end of the liftgate strut (1).

Connect the washer hose and electrical connector and retainers.
Liftgate Wiring Harness Grommet (2) - Install
Washer Hose Grommet (1) - Install

Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) - Install
