Removal Procedure

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  2. Front Floor Console Lower Applique (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  4. Front Floor Console Applique (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  6. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  8. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  10. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]

  12. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  13. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  14. NOTE:

    Use care not to bend or deform the thin area of the instrument panel trim pad.

  15. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  17. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove
  18. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Plate Applique (2) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  23. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  25. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  26. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove

  28. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  29. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate (2) - Remove

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) - Release

  31. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]

    Instrument Panel Lower Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Remove

    Release the retaining tab.

  35. Rotate the front floor courtesy lamp (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to release.

    Front Floor Courtesy Lamp (1) - Remove

  37. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    NOTE:

    You may have to push down on the lower steering column closeout to clear the instrument panel cluster trim plate.

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  40. NOTE:

    Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.
