Circuit/System Testing

NOTE:

The K230 Front Floor Console Control Module is part of the console base assembly, the console base assembly must be removed/disassembled in order to diagnose/replace the module.

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Command the K230 Front Floor Console Control Module by pressing the pulling the appropriate switch on the A103 Roof Console.
    • If the power sliding front floor center console travel is limited or inoperative 
    1. Inspect the area around the power sliding front floor center console for any exterior obstructions that would prevent normal forward and backward travel.
      • Remove the exterior obstructions
      • Go to next step: If there are not any visible exterior obstructions
    2. Disassemble the front floor center console and inspect for internal obstructions that would prevent normal forward and backward travel.
    • Go to next step: If there are not any internal obstructions
  3. Replace the component: K230 Front Floor Console Control Module
