Installation Procedure

    Install the transmission vent hose clip bracket (2).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install and tighten the transmission vent hose clip bracket nut (1). Fastener Specifications

    Reposition the transmission vent hose (2) then install the transmission vent hose retainer (1).

    Position the transfer case vent hose (2) then install the transfer case vent hose retainer (1).

    Reposition the engine wiring harness (2) then install the engine wiring harness retainer (1).

  6. Raise the transmission into place.

    Transmission Support Crossmember (1) - Install

    Transmission Support Crossmember Bolt (3) - Install [4x]

  9. Transmission Support Crossmember Nut (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Transmission Mount Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    If equipped, position the wiring harness (2) as necessary then install the harness into the 3 wiring harness retainers (1).

  12. Remove the transmission jack.

    Transfer Case Skid Shield (2) - Install

  14. Transfer Case Skid Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  15. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
