Installation Procedure
Transmission Housing Sound Insulator (1) - Install
- Transmission Nut (2) - Install [4x]
- WARNING:
The torque converter must be held to the torque converter housing by a retaining device such as shipping brackets. Without the retaining device, the torque converter may slide forward, disengaging the oil pump, or may fall completely out of the transmission causing personal injury and/or property damage.
If removed, install the DT-21366 Converter Holding Strap (1) onto the transmission bell housing to retain the torque converter.
- Transmission - Install - Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (LM2, 4WD and NP0 without F47) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (LM2, 4WD and NQH without F47) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (L84, L87, 4WD and NP0) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (L84, L87, 4WD and NQH) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (LM2, 4WD and NP0 with F47) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (LM2, 4WD and NQH with F47)
