Installation Procedure

    Transmission Control Module (3) - Install

  2. Connect the transmission control module electrical connector.
  3. Engine Control Module Bracket (2) - Reposition
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Reposition the front portion of the wheelhouse liner as necessary.

  6. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) - Install

  8. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    {If equipped} Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  11. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
  12. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  13. Program the transmission control module, if replaced. Control Module References
