Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    NOTE:

    The ceramic glow plug technology is sensitive to collision, drops, or general impact Avoid side force or the bending of the tip during the installation in the head. Replace the glow plug if one or more of these conditions is suspected.

    NOTE:

    Do not use power tools to install glow plugs.

    Glow Plug (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Electrical Connector (1) @ Glow Plug - Connect [6x]

    Throttle Body Gasket (3) - Install NEW

  4. Throttle Body (2) - Install
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Throttle Body Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  6. Connect the throttle body electrical connector.

    Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose (2) - Install

  8. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Clamp (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  9. Oil Filler Cap - Remove

    Intake Manifold Cover (2) - Install

  11. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  12. Oil Filler Cap - Install
