Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Clean the diesel engine combustion air heater glow plug mounting hole. Hole must be free of lubricant and grease.
- NOTE:
- Avoid canting of the diesel engine combustion air heater glow plug during the insertion process into cylinder head bore.
- Handle with extreme care, do not allow diesel engine combustion air heater glow plugs to touch each other. Any impact to diesel engine combustion air heater glow plug requires replacement with NEW.
- Do not use power tools to install the diesel engine combustion air heater glow plug.
Install the NEW diesel engine combustion air heater glow plug (1) by hand a minimum of 3 turns into the cylinder head thread.
- Complete installation of the diesel engine combustion air heater glow plug (1).
- Diesel Engine Combustion Air Heater Glow Plug (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Connect the wiring harness connector (1).
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (2) - Install
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Plenum Front Panel Outer Reinforcement (1) - Install - Plenum Front Panel Outer Reinforcement Removal and Installation
Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) - Install
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
