Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the emission reduction fluid tank. Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Draining 
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Heat Shield Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Heat Shield Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Heat Shield (1) - Remove

    Retainer (1) - Remove

  7. Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Protector (2) - Remove

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  9. Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  10. Retainer (3) - Remove
  11. Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe (2) - Reposition

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Protector Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  13. Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Shield (2) - Remove

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Filler Hose (1) - Disconnect [2x] - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  16. Support the emission reduction fluid tank with a suitable jack.

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Protector Bolt (1) - Remove

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Protector Bolt (1) - Remove

    Emission Reduction Fluid Tank (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the emission reduction fluid tank reservoir wire harness at controller.

  22. Emission Reduction Fluid Controller Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  23. Emission Reduction Fluid Controller (2) - Remove

    Retainer (1) - Disengage

  25. Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Filler Vent Hose (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  26. Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Filler Vent Hose (2) - Remove
