Removal Procedure

Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

If equipped, remove the transfer case skid shield.
1. Transfer Case Skid Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
2. Transfer Case Skid Shield (2) - Remove
Place a drain pan under the vehicle.

NOTE:
Use only hand tools to remove and install the oil drain and fill plugs.

Transfer Case Oil Drain Plug (2) - Remove
Drain the fluid from the transfer case.
