With Scan Tool

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Select: Module Diagnostics
  3. Select: Transfer Case Control Module
  4. Select: Configuration/Reset Functions
  5. Select: Range Actuator Learn
  6. Follow the instructions on the scan tool. - The procedure will complete within 10 s

    Verify the scan tool parameter: Range Actuator Learn = Passed

    • If not the specified state 

      Refer to: Step 1

    • Go to next step: If the specified state 
  7. Operate the component: S126 Ride Control Switch - 2WD/4WD/AWD Automatic/4WD High/Locked

    Verify operating the controls yields the expected results.

    • If the function is NOT executed as expected 
    1. Verify that no DTCs are set.
      • Go to next step: If no DTC is set

        Go to next step: Refer to: Step 1

    • Go to next step: If the function is executed as expected 
  8. All OK.
