Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Operate the component: S126 Ride Control Switch - 2WD
  3. Verify the scan tool parameter: Transfer Case Range Position Sensor = -10 to 25°
    • If not the specified value 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the specified value 
  4. Operate the component: S126 Ride Control Switch - 4WD High/Locked
  5. Verify the scan tool parameter: Transfer Case Range Position Sensor = 25 to 175°
    • If not the specified value 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the specified value 
  6. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

    Verify the DTC does not set.

    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  7. All OK.
