Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Barometric Pressure Sensor 2 = The value should be within the range listed in the table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor = The value should be within the range listed in the table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- If not in the specified range
- {Barometric Pressure Sensor 2} Refer to: DTC P227B-P227E
- {Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor} Refer to: DTC P0106, P0107, or P0108
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Barometric Pressure Sensor = The value should be within the range listed in the table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- If not in the specified range
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Verify a condition does not exist with the component: Vent @ K20 Engine Control Module
- Debris/Dirty
- Moisture/Ice/Water
- If a condition exists
Repair or replace as necessary
- Go to next step: If no conditions exist
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the component: K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
