Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify DTC P0096, P0097, P0098, P0099, P09E, P010B, P0111, P0114, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0128, P017B, P017C, P017D, P111E, P117B, P117C, P117CD, P117E, P117F, P262B is not set.
- If a related DTC is set
  Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If a related DTC is not set
Verify the scan tool parameter: Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor = -39 to 999°C (-38 to 1, 830°F)
- If not the specified value
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified value
Ignition Off Time Greater than 8 h
Verify the scan tool parameter: Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor & Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 = Within 20°C (36°F) of each other
- If not the specified value
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified value
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
All OK.
