Circuit/System Verification

- Engine - Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit High Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Low Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Shorted Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Clear the DTCs.
- Ignition Off - For greater than 1 min
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P10C1, P10EC, P10ED, P2008, P2010, P201B is not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- Engine - Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit High Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Low Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Shorted Test Status = Not Run or Okay
Perform the action while monitoring the parameter:
- Wiggle the harness and connector: Q22 Intake Manifold Tuning Solenoid Valve
- Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
