Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
Rear Brake Rear Pipe Nut (2) - Remove
- Rear Brake Rear Pipe Retainer (1) - Remove
- Plug the rear brake crossover pipe nut to avoid fluid loss and contamination.
Rear Brake Rear Pipe Retainer (1) - Remove
Rear Brake Rear Pipe Nut (1) - Remove
- Rear Brake Rear Pipe Retainer (2) - Remove
- Plug the rear brake hose inlet to avoid fluid loss and contamination.
Remove the right rear brake rear pipe (1) from the vehicle.
