Installation Procedure
Install the right rear brake rear pipe (1) into the vehicle.
Remove the plug from the rear brake hose inlet.
- Rear Brake Rear Pipe Retainer (2) - Install
- Rear Brake Rear Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Rear Brake Rear Pipe Retainer (1) - Install
Remove the cap from the rear brake crossover pipe nut.
- Rear Brake Rear Pipe Retainer (1) - Install
- Rear Brake Rear Pipe Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
- Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
