Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)

{ If equipped } Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove

Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

Remove the front wheelhouse liner.

Front And Rear Brake Pipe Nut (2) @ Rear Brake Pipe Connector - Remove [2x]
Front And Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ Rear Brake Pipe Connector - Remove [2x]
Rear Brake Rear Pipe Nut (3) @ Rear Brake Pipe Connector - Remove [2x]
Rear Brake Rear Pipe (4) @ Rear Brake Pipe Connector - Remove [2x]
Cap the front and rear brake pipe (4) outlets and the rear brake rear pipe (2) inlets to avoid fluid loss and contamination.
