Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
- Front Wheelhouse Liner- Left Side - Remove Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
Electrical Connector (1) @ Brake System Control Module - Disconnect
Front and Rear Brake Pipe Nut (1) @ Brake Master Cylinder - Remove [4x]
- Front and Rear Brake Pipe (2) @ Brake Master Cylinder - Remove
- Plug the brake master cylinder outlets to avoid fluid loss and contamination.
Front and Rear Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove [4x]
- Plug the front crossover brake pipe connector and rear brake pipe connector inlets to avoid fluid loss and contamination.
