Removal Procedure
Rear Bumper Fascia (1) - Remove - Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation
Rear Bumper Fascia Molding Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]
- Using the appropriate tool, release the rear bumper fascia lower molding (2).
Turn the 2 rear bumper fascia trailer hitch cover retainers (1) 1/4 turn counter clockwise and remove.
- Rear Bumper Fascia Trailer Hitch Cover (2) - Remove
Disengage the wire at the connector, disengage wire at opposite end, then pull back on each tab, and apply slight force on rear closure hands free sensor (1) and push the sensor out of the tabs.
- Disconnect all electrical connectors.
Rear Closure Hands Free Module Bolt (1) - Remove
- Rear Closure Hands Free Module (2) - Remove
Rear Closure Hands Free Module Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Closure Hands Free Lamp (2) - Remove
Rear Closure Hands Free Module Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Closure Hands Free Module Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
- Release the 2 wire harness retainers from the bracket.
Rear Closure Hands Free Module Bracket (1) - Remove
{If equipped} Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Rear Fascia Lower Signal Lamp Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Rear Fascia Lower Signal Lamp (1) - Remove [2x]
Rear Bumper Fascia Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Rear Bumper Fascia Retainer (2) - Remove [4x]
- Release the retainer tabs on the rear bumper lower fascia (3) and remove from the upper fascia.
