Removal Procedure

    Reposition the seat as necessary.

  2. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the 3rd row seat anchor plate bezel plastic retainers.
  3. 3rd Row Seat Anchor Plate Bezel-Outboard (1) - Remove

    {If equipped} Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.

  5. {If equipped} 3rd Row Seat Back Latch Release Handle Bezel (1) - Remove
  6. If equipped, feed the 3rd row seat pull strap through the bezel (1) to remove.

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat back frame.

  8. Unzip the left and right seat back cover zippers.
  9. Reposition the seat back cover and pad as necessary to access the 3rd row seat head restraint cable (2).
  10. Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, open the 3rd row seat head restraint cable cover (1).
  11. Release the 3rd row seat head restraint cable (2).

    Using a suitable pointed or flat bladed tool, push the 3rd row seat head restraint guide clip (1) rearward while pulling upward on the 3rd row seat head restraint (2).

  13. 3rd Row Seat Head Restraint (2) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, push the plastic tab of the 3rd row seat head restraint guide (1) inward and pull upward to remove from the seat back frame.
