Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify the scan tool Left Front Door Interior Lock Status and the Left Front Door Interior Unlock Status changes from Inactive to Active while pressing the S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
    • If a parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 1

    • Go to next step: If the parameters change from Inactive and Active 
  3. Verify the scan tool Right Front Door Interior Lock Status and the Right Front Door Interior Unlock Status changes from Inactive to Active while pressing the S13P Door Lock Switch - Passenger - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
    • If a parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 2

    • Go to next step: If the parameters change from Inactive and Active 
  4. Verify the scan tool Left Rear Door Interior Lock Status and the Left Rear Door Interior Unlock Status changes from Inactive to Active while pressing the S13LR Door Lock Switch - Left Rear - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
    • If a parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 3

    • Go to next step: If the parameters change from Inactive and Active 
  5. Verify the scan tool Right Rear Door Interior Lock Status and the Right Rear Door Interior Unlock Status changes from Inactive to Active while pressing the S13RR Door Lock Switch - Right Rear - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
    • If a parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 4

    • Go to next step: If the parameters change from Inactive and Active 
  6. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23D Front Side Door Latch-Driver = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 5

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  7. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23P Front Side Door Latch-Passenger = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 6

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  8. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23LR Rear Side Door Latch-Left = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 7

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  9. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23RR Rear Side Door Latch-Right = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 8

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  10. A fault that is not currently present may have been caused by a intermittent condition.
