Installation Procedure

Install the brake master cylinder reservoir, if removed. Refer to Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (LHD) .
Bench bleed the brake master cylinder. Refer to Brake Master Cylinder Bench Bleeding .

Install the brake master cylinder (1) to the power vacuum brake booster.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the brake master cylinder nuts (1) and tighten to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
Install the EBCM/BPMV and bracket assembly. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
Install the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (LHD) .
Install the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (LHD) .
Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater) , or Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
Install the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
