1	Liftgate Weatherstrip Procedure Start at the upper corner of the rear compartment panel frame opening, pull the weatherstrip away from the rear compartment panel frame opening flange. Clean the area where the weatherstrip will be mounted. Use a suitable solvent with a mixture of 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and 50 percent water by volume, or high-flash naphtha. Position the weatherstrip, working downward along the edge, install the weatherstrip on the rear compartment panel frame opening flange. Ensure that the weatherstrip is seated on the entire rear compartment panel frame opening flange.
