Liftgate Procedure
- Loosen the 4 liftgate hinge bolts to adjust the liftgate.
- Adjust the liftgate in order to obtain an even gap between the liftgate and the quarter outer panel, the tail lamp and rear bumper fascia and so that the lid is flush with the quarter outer panel, the tail lamp and rear bumper fascia.
- Tighten the 4 liftgate hinge bolts. Liftgate Replacement
Adjustment:
- Liftgate to rear roof panel rear extension (a) 5.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.21 in ± 0.04 in)
- Liftgate to quarter outer panel (b) 3.5 mm ± 1.25 mm (0.14 in ± 0.05 in)
- Liftgate to rear bumper fascia (c) 4.0 mm ± 1.25 mm (0.15 in ± 0.05 in)
