1	Hood Weatherstrip Procedure Start at the upper corner of the front compartment front panel pull the weatherstrip away from the front compartment front panel flange. Clean the area where the weatherstrip will be mounted. Use a suitable solvent with a mixture of 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and 50 percent water by volume, or high-flash naphtha. Position the weatherstrip, working downward along the edge, install the weatherstrip on the front compartment front panel flange. Ensure that the weatherstrip is seated on the entire front compartment front panel flange.
