Cleaning Procedure

Remove and DISCARD the intake manifold-to-cylinder head gaskets (1).

Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor bolt (1), MAP sensor (2), and seal (3).
- Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve bolt (8), EVAP canister purge solenoid valve (7), and seal (6).
- Clean the intake manifold in solvent.
- Dry the intake manifold with compressed air.
