Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify DTC P0300 - P0306 is not set.
- If DTC P0300 - P0306 is set
  Refer to: DTC P0300-P0306
- Go to next step: If DTC P0300 - P0306 is not set

NOTE:

Cold Start-Up = Required

Verify the scan tool parameter: Cold Start-Up = Yes
- If not the specified state
  Repeat the procedure starting at step 3
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Engine - Idling
Verify the scan tool parameter: Cylinder 1 - 6 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- If 1 or greater
1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
2. Verify the following conditions do not exist:
  - Q17 Fuel Injector = Blocked/Restricted - Fuel Injector Diagnosis
  - Q17 Fuel Injector - Control Circuit = High Resistance
  - Battery Voltage = Less than 11 V - Cold Start-Up - Refer to: Symptoms - Engine Electrical
  - Fuel - Contaminated/Poor Quality - Refer to: Alcohol/Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis
  - Fuel Pressure - Low/High - Refer to: Fuel System Diagnosis (except NPP) , or Fuel System Diagnosis (NPP) .
  - If a condition exists - Repair or replace as necessary
  - If no condition exists - Replace the component: Q17 Fuel Injector
- Go to next step: If less than 1
All OK.
