Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify DTC P0106, P0107, P0108, P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
  Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
Verify the scan tool parameter: Throttle Body Idle Air Flow Compensation = Less than 90%
- If 90% or greater
  Refer to: Throttle Body Cleaning
- Go to next step: If less than 90%
Verify the following conditions do not exist:
- Q38 Throttle Body - Loose Clamps/Visible Damage
- Air Cleaner Element - Dirty/Restricted
- Catalytic Converter - Blocked/Restricted/Visible Damage
- Intake Air Duct & Intake Manifold - Cracked/Loose Clamps/Visible Damage - Refer to: Throttle Body Cleaning
- B75C Multifunction Intake Air Sensor - Cracked/Loose Clamps/Visible Damage/Water intrusion
- O-Ring @ B74 Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor/Leaking/Missing/Visible Damage
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation System - Leaking/Incorrect connection/Restricted/Frozen
- Vacuum Hoses - Kinked/Leaking/Incorrect connection/Restricted
- Vacuum leak@Engine/Intake Manifold/Q38 Throttle Body
- If a condition exists
  Repair or replace as necessary
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- BARO Sensor = Verify the value is within the range listed in the table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- MAP Sensor = Verify the value is within the range listed in the table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- If not in the specified range
- {BARO Sensor} Refer to: DTC P2227-P2230 .
- {MAP Sensor} Refer to: DTC P0107 or P0108 (LT1) .
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
All OK.
