Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the clutch assembly. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement (MJK, MH3, MM6) .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the J-42386-A  flywheel holding tool and bolts.

    Use 1 M10 - 1.5 x 120 mm and 1 M10 - 1.5 x 45 mm bolt for proper tool operation.

    Tighten the J-42386-A  flywheel holding tool and bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

    NOTE:

    Do NOT reuse the flywheel bolts.

    Remove and DISCARD the flywheel bolts (2).

  4. Remove the manual transmission flywheel (1).

    Note the location of the manual transmission flywheel balance weights (1), if applicable. Engine Balancing
