Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Remove the crankshaft oil deflector. Oil Pan Disassemble .

    Remove the engine oil level indicator switch bolts (1), retaining clip (2) and switch (3). DISCARD seal (4).

  4. Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection .
