Removal Procedure

Engine Coolant Fan (1) - Remove - Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (LT1 V18) , or Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (LT4)
Air Conditioning Compressor Belt (3) - Remove - Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement
Radiator Outlet Hose (1) - Remove - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LT1 with V18 V03) , or Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LT4)
Install the EN-52287 Balancer Holding Kit (1) and the EN-956-1 Extension Bar (2) to the crankshaft balancer (3).
Crankshaft Balancer Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD
- Remove the EN-52287 Balancer Holding Kit and the EN-956-1 Extension Bar.
Install the EN-41816-A Crankshaft Balancer Remover (1) and the EN-41816-2 Crankshaft End Protector (2), and use tool adjustment to release the crankshaft balancer (3).
- Once the crankshaft balancer (2) has released, remove the EN-41816-A Crankshaft Balancer Remover (1) and the EN-44226-5 Crankshaft Protector (2).
