Installation Procedure

NOTE:
If a new sensor is not being installed, inspect the camshaft sensor seal (2) and replace as needed.

Install the camshaft position sensor (1) into the engine front cover.

Position the camshaft position sensor bracket (1) in place.

Connect the and the engine wiring harness connector (1), oil pump flow control valve connector (2), camshaft position actuator solenoid connector (3), camshaft position sensor connector (4).

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the camshaft position sensor bracket fasteners (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the drive belt. Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (LT1)
