Circuit/System Verification

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Observe the following K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 parameters:
    • Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Voltage Variation Exceeded Limit - Cell Battery Module Row 1
    • Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Voltage Variation Exceeded Limit - Cell Battery Module Row 2
    • Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Voltage Variation Exceeded Limit - Cell Battery Module Row 3
    • Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Voltage Variation Exceeded Limit - Cell Battery Module Row 4
    • Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Voltage Variation Exceeded Limit - Cell Battery Module Row 5
  3. Verify that a parameter indicates a FAILED condition.
    • A parameter indicates a Failed condition 

      Record the number of the failed cell battery module row. Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: No parameter indicates a Failed condition 
  4. Replace the component: A4 Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Pack
