Installation Procedure
Rear Brake Intermediate Number 1 Pipe (2) @ Vehicle - Install
- Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure [5x]
Brake Pipe Clip (4) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Secure [2x]
- Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
Rear Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install
- Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Fitting (1) @ Rear Brake Hose (3) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Secure
- Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting and the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.
- Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting and the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Fuel Tank - Install - Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) , or Fuel Tank Replacement (FWD)
- Install the left front, left rear and right rear tires. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Battery Tray - Install - Battery Tray Replacement
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
