Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Front Compartment Insulator - Remove - Front Compartment Insulator Replacement (Base)
  3. Fig 1: Identifying Transmission Fluid Drain Plug

    Transmission Fluid Drain Plug (1) - Remove

  4. Drain transmission fluid into a suitable container.
    5. CAUTION:

    Component Fastener Tightening Caution

  5. Transmission Fluid Drain Plug (1) - Install and tighten 10.5 N.m (93 lb in)
