Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Drain the transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill (LIH)

Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe @ Transmission - Remove - Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement (LIH)

Disconnect the control valve body transmission control module electrical connector (1), then unclip the 5 wiring harness retainers (2).
Position the battery positive cable out of the way.

The control valve body cover seal is reusable. Inspect the seal to determine if it may be reused.
