Removal Procedure

- Set the park brake and chock the wheels.
- Air Cleaner Assembly - Remove
- {With LIH} Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
- {With L3T} Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Battery Tray - Remove
Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Bolt (1) - Remove
- Slide the retainer lock (2) forward to expose the cable adjustment retainer (3).
- Using a suitable tool, raise the cable adjustment retainer (3) to the unlock position.
- Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable (4) @ Range Selector Lever Cable Lever - Remove
- Front Floor Console - Remove - Front Floor Console Replacement
Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Grommet Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
Remove the range selector lever cable bolt (1) from the transmission control.
- Remove the range selector lever cable bolt (2) along with the range selector lever cable (3) from the transmission control.
- Remove the range selector lever cable from vehicle by pulling it into the interior.
NOTE:
The cable bolt (2) is not separated from the range selector lever cable.
