Automatic Transmission Intermediate Speed Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Left Side - Remove - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
1 Automatic Transmission Intermediate Speed Sensor Bolt
CAUTION:

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

NOTE:

Install a NEW bolt. Do NOT reuse the old bolt.


Tighten 
  1. First Pass: 4 N.m (35 lb in)
  2. Final Pass: 45 degrees

DT-48285  Torque Socket
Equivalent regional tools: Special Tools

Procedure

  1. Unclip the wiring harness retainer and disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Perform the transmission adaptive pressure reset. Transmission Adaptive Pressure Reset
