Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Restriction Test

If the Evaporative Emission vent system is restricted, fuel vapors will not be properly purged from the Evaporative Emission Canister. The ECM tests this by commanding the Q12 Evaporative Emission Purge Solenoid Valve ON/Open while commanding the Q13 Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve OFF/Open, and then monitoring the B150 Fuel Tank Pressure Sens or for an increase in vacuum. If the vacuum increases more than the expected amount, in a set amount of time, a fault will be logged by the ECM.
