- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: 9V Reference 1 Circuit Status = OK
- If not the specified state
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Engine - Running
- Transmission - Park
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Input Speed = Engine Speed± 100 RPM
- If not the specified value
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified value
- If not the specified value
- Block - Drive Wheels
- Apply & Hold - Brake Pedal
- Apply - Parking Brake
- Transmission - Reverse
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Input Speed = 0 RPM
- If not the specified value
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified value
- If not the specified value
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
