Direct Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assemble

    NOTE:

    BEFORE installing the fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor, the direct fuel injection fuel rail threads MUST be clean and free of any fuel otherwise the sensor will NOT seal properly.

    To install the NEW fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor (1) properly, perform the following steps:

    1. Lubricate the sensor threads and sealing surface with one drop of clean engine oil.
    2. Install the sensor and hand tighten.
    3. Remove the sensor.
    4. Re-lubricate the sensor threads and sealing surface with one drop of clean engine oil.
      5. CAUTION:

      Component Fastener Tightening Caution

    5. Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (1) - Install and tighten 32.5 N.m (24 lb ft)

    Fuel Injector Wiring Harness (1) - Install

  3. Electrical Connector (2) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Connect
  4. Install the NEW tape. (3)
  5. Cable Tie (4) - Install NEW [4x]
