Crankshaft and Bearing Removal

NOTE:
Organize the crankshaft bearing caps in the order removed.

Crankshaft Bearing Cap Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [8x]
Crankshaft Bearing Cap (2) - Remove [4x]

NOTE:
- Identify the guide lug (1) for the installation procedure.
- Mark the installation position of the crankshaft lower bearing. Lay aside in the order removed.
Crankshaft Lower Bearing (2) - Remove [4x]

NOTE:
Mark the installation position of the crankshaft upper bearings and the thrust bearings. Lay aside in the order removed.

Crankshaft (1) - Remove
Crankshaft Upper Bearing (3) - Remove [3x]
Crankshaft Thrust Bearing (2) - Remove
