   Seal (2) @ Turbocharger Bypass Valve Solenoid - Install NEW

2. Turbocharger Bypass Valve Solenoid (1) - Install
CAUTION:

Fastener Caution

3. Charge Air Bypass Regulator Solenoid Valve Bolt (3) - Install and tighten 7 N.m (62 lb in) [3x]

   Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator (1) - Install

   Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Nut (3) - Install NEW and tighten 7 N.m (62 lb in) [2x]

6. Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Nut (1) - Loosely install
7. Install J-23738-A  Vacuum Pump to the wastegate actuator and apply pressure of -70 kPa (-10.15 PSI)

   Back out the inner nut (3) and adjust the distance between the inner nut and the actuator arm (2) to a = 2 mm (0.079 in) + 0.5 mm (0.02 in).

9. Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Nut (1) - Tighten 7 N.m (62 lb in)
10. Depressurize the J-23738-A  Vacuum Pump.

    To check the correct adjustment of the turbocharger wastegate actuator measure the length (a) of the rod (1) at ambient pressure.

12. Using J-23738-A  Vacuum Pump, apply pressure of -70 kPa (-10.15 PSI) to the wastegate actuator.
13. Measure the length (b) of the rod (2) of the turbocharger wastegate actuator.
14. If the difference between the rod length (a) and (b) is 15 mm (0.591 in) + 3 mm (0.1181 in) the turbocharger wastegate actuator is correctly adjusted.
15. Depressurize the J-23738-A  Vacuum Pump
16. J-23738-A  Vacuum Pump - Remove
