Crankcase Ventilation System Description: Operation

With the pressure regulating valve inside the camshaft cover the system is designed in a way to limit vacuum in the crankcase. On top of the pressure regulating valve is an opening to the ambient, which allows the ambient pressure to act on top of the pressure regulating valve membrane.
