Preliminary Procedures

  1. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) 
  2. Water Pump Pulley Replacement (LIH) 
1 Water Pump Bolt [5x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
Tighten 
7.5 N.m (66 lb in)
2 Water Pump

Procedure

  1. Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) 
  2. Check the cooling system for leaks. Cooling System Leak Testing 
3 Water Pump Gasket
Procedure 
DISCARD the gasket.
