Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection
Clean the intake manifold mating surfaces.
- Inspect the intake manifold for damage. (1)
- Check that the locating pins (2, 4, 6) are not broken.
- Inspect the intake manifold for cracks and fractures.
- Clean the throttle body sealing surface. (5)
- Clean the intake manifold to cylinder head sealing surface (3).
- Replace the intake manifold as necessary.
