Installation Procedure

    Brake Master Cylinder (3) - Install

  2. Brake Master Cylinder Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  3. Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Brake and Accelerator Pedal Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten [4x] 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

    Electrical Connector (1) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (2) - Connect

    Battery Negative Cable (2) @ Front Wheelhouse Panel - Install

  8. Battery Negative Cable Ground Nut (1) @ Front Wheelhouse Panel - Install and tighten - Battery Negative Cable Replacement (L3T) , or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (LIH)

    Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir- Upper (2) - Install - Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (Upper) , or Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (Attached)

    Brake Pedal Push Rod Retainer (1) @ Brake Pedal Push Rod (3) - Install NEW

  11. Brake Pedal Push Rod (3) @ Brake Pedal (2) - Connect
  12. Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side - Install - Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side
  13. Battery Tray - Install - Battery Tray Replacement
  14. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  15. Program the electronic brake control module. Control Module References
  16. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  17. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling 
  18. Connect the scan tool and perform the brake pressure test.
