Front Side Door Adjustment

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
  2. Front Fender Insulator Replacement 
1 Front Side Door

Procedure

  1. Loosen the 4 front side door hinge bolts to adjust the front side door.
  2. Adjust the front side door in order to obtain an even gap between the front side door and the body side upper front applique, the body side outer, the rear door and the front fender.

Adjustment:

  • Front side door to body side upper front applique (a) : 5.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.19 in ± 0.04 in)
  • Front side door to body side outer (b) : 5.25 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.2 in ± 0.04 in)
  • Front side door window frame rear applique to rear side door window frame front applique (c): 5.0 mm ± 1.25 mm (0.19 in ± 0.05 in)
  • Front side door to rear side door (d) : 3.5 mm ± 0.75 mm (0.14 in ± 0.03 in)
  • Front side door to front fender (e) : 3.5 mm ± 0.75 mm (0.14 in ± 0.03 in)

Tighten 
32 N.m (24 lb ft)
